And Now We Rest
I got it alllll done - well all but the knitting :O( And now I am soooo tired. Here is the break down:
On Sunday the 24th I made the rest of the cookies, went to the bank for Ryan, wrapped gifts, my friend Robin stopped by so I could give her her chocolates and we visited for a bit, I took a hour nap, wrapped more gifts, ironed Ryan's shirt ( even though I had asked him the NIGHT BEFORE for him to pick out his clothes in case I needed to iron it because I wasn't going to have time last minute ), took a shower, got dressed and was all ready to go by ten till 7pm. Not Bad :O)
We left the house at 6:50pm for mass at the log chapel with my moms side of the family, from there we went to Ryan's parents house to celebrate Christmas with them. It was a good time, but we didn't leave till almost 2AM!!!! We needed to be up by 7:30 am Christmas Day :O(
Christmas day we got up, got dressed, packed the car and went to Joe and Marys house for our family Christmas. We had breakfast there and opened our gifts. The Boys all got a remote control thing, Erik and Joe got helicopters and Ryan got a car. It was sooooooo funny at one point all the boys were outside playing with their toys without jackets on!!!! It was all sun shiny and warm ( for December ) I think it was at least 40 degrees. Reminded me more of Easter than Christmas. After that we stopped by my Grandpa and Grandma Hektor's graves and I gave them the ornament I made for them, then we went to Uncle Dan's for the Hektor's Christmas. This is the place we get the CHEESY POTATOES!!!!! We all wait all year for the Cheesy Potatoes!!! Plus we love the Hektors, they are the bestest people ever!!! Ryan and I stayed till 7 I think??? But the time we got home we were soooooooooo tired we couldn't even think straight. In fact it took everything I had not to fall asleep in the car on the way home, I wanted to stay awake and keep Ryan company.
So we get home, clean up a bit, give the Meowfaces their gifts, and we both crash on the couch watching CSI. We would both doze off for a bit, wake up eat a couple cookies and fall back asleep. We also decided its not the 12 DAYS of Christmas, its the 12 POUNDS of Christmas!!! We ended up crawling in to bed around midnight.
Ryan had to be up at 6:30 this morning, worked a 14hr day, came home and went right to bed. I on the other hand worked this morning, came home took a short nap, cleaned the kitchen, did 2 loads of dished, put away 3 loads of laundry, there is still a load in the dryer to put :O( but it is off to bed for me.
Oh and just in case you wanted to know I typed this whole thing with a rotten meowface ( tinky ) on my lap curled up inside my sweat shirt. She decided it was bug mommy time and DEMAND to be petted. I can't help it she is a sweetie :O) I love my moewfaces

Am I Crazy??
I really think I am crazy!! For Christmas I have decided to make homemade gifts for all of my family, not just my mom, dad, brother, sister, and Ryan's parents... I mean my whole Family, both sides ( some cousins not included because they don't come to x-mas and I haven't seen them in years ) and in-laws included and Ryan's close friends. Is that nuts or what???
Everyone will be getting a homemade ornament that is the first letter of there last name, and home made chocolates, and I'm not talking just molded chocolates, I am making mint patties, chocolate covered pretzels and peanut butter chocolate bars with a snowman on them. So I have a total of 40 ornaments to make ( if I've not forgotten anyone ) and a total of 480 chocolates!!! So far some chocolates and ornaments have already been made and given out. I had my mom's side of the family Christmas last Sunday. So I am down to about half of each left to do, and its only Wednesday!!
But that's not all I still have to wrap all our gifts and I still have 3 people to buy for. I'm nuts!!!
Ryan helps out all he can but he has been working at the new City store about 14 hrs a day, so but the time he gets home he is sleepy and hungry. But he is being the bestest hubby ever!! We sat on the couch last night watching t.v ( like I have time to watch t.v ) and he fell asleep in my arm.......he was sooooooo sweet. I finally woke him up at 11:30pm cuz I had to go to bed. I really didn't want to he looked so peaceful. Sometimes when he is sleeping I will just watch him, I think I can see what out sons will look like in his sweet face. He looks just like a little boy when he sleeps.
Speaking of sweet faces and what our sons might look like, we have been talking about children lately. I really think next year is the year we will start to try for children. We still want a house first but after we get settled I think we may start trying. I'm really excited and Ryan is too. We only worry what it will do to the mittens, we treat them like babies now so what will happen when we have a real baby. Ryan thinks Nizzy won't understand ( she is special needs kitten ) and we think Tinky will be upset since she won't be the center of attention anymore. Oh well, they will adjust.
Heres some pics of the chocolates:

Where have I been???
Wow has it been a long time.
The past few months have been very busy for me, and being busy is something I like. My parents are getting divorced and part of that is having to sell the house. So I have been at my dads A LOT!! I think I have been there just about every day since oh I don't know April maybe May?? And I am sooo proud of my daddy and me. The house is on the market!!!! Below is a list of things that he and I have done to the house. Now before you read the list and think ** that place must have been a dump** let me explain. We moved into this house 9yrs ago when the F-ing state took our house for the Capital Ave. bypass or whatever you call it. Then gave us like 3 months to find a house so this is what we ended up with. The house was a repo because the builders when bankrupt while building and they finished things half-ass. So there were some problems that needed to be addresses, nothing major, but it just was time consuming. Plus we moved in in a hurry so there were still boxes in the basement that we never un-packed.
The List is COMPLETED!!!
Painted: Foyer, Living room, Family room, Dinning room, Kitchen, Laundry room, 1/2 bath on 1st floor, stairwell, landing, 3 bedrooms, master bedroom, master bathroom which equals THE WHOLE HOUSE ( minus 1 bathroom upstairs, it was wall papered ) plus I patched about a million holes and such
2 rooms got new carpet
we cleaned out 3 bedrooms that used to be my brother, sisters, and mine. ( when we moved out we left a ton of crap everywhere )
cleaned the basement - I have sorted through so must junk it is not funny
cleaned the garage and plastered and taped it
redid landscaping
washed the outside of the house
painted the front pillars and front door
had a new kitchen floor laid
......ummmmm..... I can't think..... I know there is more???
anyways we did a lot, and by the way this was all done while my dad was working a full time job!!!
I think I am going to miss not being at my dad house every night and every weekend :( Him and I have really become good buddies!!
Growing up my dad and I didn't always get along. We could never have done anything like this when I was younger. But I think we have both grown up a bit and I think we are more alike than I thought. I have a really appreciation for my dad, he's that most awesome, caring, gentle, kind hearted man I know, and have ever know. WAIT A MINUTE!!!! HE's SANTA CLAUSE!!!!! and a cute puppy all rolled into one.
My dad has been there so many times when I need someone and had no one else to turn to. We've laughed together ( a lot ) and we've cried together. We talked about the good times and the bad time and as hard as it is to say I get my taste of music from him, and my love for Prairie Home Companion.
I think we are who we are for a reason and the people we know are placed in our lives for a reason. And I know that I'm my daddy's daughter for a reason. The things we have been through together, I don't know any other Father that would do so much for their grown daughter as my dad has done for me. He really is my best friend!!! And on more that one occasion he has been my angle. I'll never forget the thing my daddy has done for me and the things he has taught me.
But now that the house is done I have free time on my hands. YEAH RIGHT!!! I am so behind in other things its not even funny. OK well I guess I'm not that far behind. Lets see Halloween was Oct. 31st and I just now tonight took down my Halloween decorations. So that would put me about 6 weeks behind. Not that bad. I do have to give props to my hubby he has been a peach since I have been so busy. So thing have been getting down, but I think now its time for a woman to take over and really get the jobs done :O) No offense to men but sometimes women just do things better :O) Plus I still have x-mas to get ready for. AHHHHHHHHH!!!! Oh well I like it busy, it helps pass the time.

I've Got No Time
OMG!!! I Can't believe how busy I am. I seriously have no time at all. Over the past what 2 months there have been like a zillion things I've wanted to blog about but I never seem to find the time. So right now I have exactly 10 mins to blog, well make that 9, so lets see what all I can get down before times up.
October 8th was Ryan and mine 2 year wedding anniversary. It was 90 degrees outside. The day we got married it was in the mid 50's if I remember right and it was kind of misting out. So to celebrate 2 years we had in mind at first to enjoy the "fallness" well that was the thought about 2 months before our anniversary. That the leaves would all be pretty colors and we could take a walk outside. Maybe go to a winery in Michigan. Take a hay ride sip wine and relax. But no, it was 90 outside and the leaves hadn't changed yet. Major bummer :O( So instead we went to a corn maze in Michigan and had a blast!! This is also where Ryan got his new nick name "Goat Face" ( I post a pic later. ) After we did that we had a nice dinner and came home watched a movie and "relaxed".
What else...... man its hard to think when you are in a time crunch.......
Well I can tell you that I really love my job at the museum. Its sooooo much fun and the people are GRRRRRRRRREAT!!!
I learned how to knit.. not well.. but its a start.
OMG!!! I can not think. Ok well I'm just going to call this quits for now I have like 5 mins left on my timer but the pressure is making me draw a blank. I'll try again later.

A New Sister
No, my parents did not have another kid!! MY BROTHER GOT MARRIED!!! ( Which for a while there, years ago, it was more likely for my parents to have another kid than for my brother to get married, but he did it he got married!!! ) I am so happy for him and his new wife!!! Not that she is "new" or anything, she has actually been around for a while. You see she was my friend first :O) But only for maybe less than a year before my brother and her hooked up, well actually it may have been more like 6 to 8 months before they hooked up, I can't remember??
Any who, if I knew where my hubby put my camera cord I'd post a pic or two but I can't seem to find it.
They were soooooooo cute on there wedding day and I am soooooo happy for them!!! It was soooo totally weird for me to look up and see my big brother. He looked to hansom and she was so beautiful!!! Just like in a fairy tale. I hope they live happily ever after.
The wedding reception was so much fun too!! I danced my butt off!!! So did Ryan, but not till the end though. I'm still not sure who go him on the dance floor??? He did dance with me during the slow songs all night but not to the fast fun songs till the end, then he was " cutting a rug " or what ever it is they say?? The only thing I do regret is not doing the toast I had prepared. :O( I was just sooooo nervous I thought I would throw up or make a total fool of myself and cry, but I have thought about it and I want to post it...........so here goes............
Sitting in the pew yesterday during the rehearsal it really hit me, Joe's getting married!! I never thought this day would come. o.k well most thought this day would never come.
Looking at him yesterday did bring tears to my eyes, not only because I felt for Mary and wondered if she really knew what she was getting herself into but because thats Joe, my big brother, "My Joe" as I lovingly called him when we were kids. My Joe taught me so much. He taught me about all the morning cartoons. Batman and Robin, G.I. Joe, Thunder Cat, Heman and Shera, Lonny Tunes, Transformers along with others that we would sit and watch every morning till Mom made us turn off the T.V and play outside. But my lessons from my big brother didn't stop there oh no, there was so much to teach his your sister and the great outdoors was the perfect place.
I learned that a stick was not just a stick, it could be a gun, a sword, a knife, or you could simply use it to beat your sister. He taught me how to climb fences, dig holes and cover them so if an intruder tried to attack he would fall in and meet an untimely death, he ever taught me how to put nails in the bottom of said holes, just in case the fall it self didn't kill the guy the nails at the bottom sure would. He taught me all about setting traps and how to use fire crackers. For example those little so called "safe" firecrackers that you just throw on the ground and they pop, well you can put those under the gas and break peddles of your parents cars as well as under the tires. So if any one tried to steal the car we would know.
Joe was the greatest mentor!! And if I ever had an idea he wouldn't stop me. Like the time I thought I was Wonder Woman and thought I could fly. Do you think Joe stopped me from trying?? Oh No, he let me go on and try to fly, but he was there to comfort me when I found out the truth I was so super hero. I always envied Joe, he could be Batman but I couldn't be a super hero too. I guess God only allows one super hero per family.
Joe made our childhood!! Without Joe, Lt. Mary and I would not be the people we are today. Joe taught us to laugh and to have fun. Even when we were hurt Joe was there to put a smile on our faces and make us laugh so hard we would pee our pants. For those of you who don't know Joe that well, he really would make us laugh till we peed, its his signature move. Joe was not satisfied till we wet ourselves.
I love my big brother and he is so very special to me. I'm so happy that he has married such a wonderful girl like Swiental, and I truly mean that you are wonderful! In the 4yrs or so that we have been friends, I have truly come to love you like a sister. You are so sweet and caring, always smiling and happy. I'm so happy that you and Joe found each other, you fit so perfectly together, and most of all you have the same sense of humor as Joe. And you always know what he means instead of what he says. For example these are some of the things that Sweet Mary and understood. And these are quotes "Mary, you are one of the most beautiful girls in the world" to which Mary replied "one of the most"
One morning Mary was getting ready for work and was looking in the mirror and said "Man, I need to get to the gym" to which Joe replied "that'd be nice"
These are just two examples, and Joe never means any harm by what he says and Mary here understands that and she knows what is in Joe's heart, and what he really means. It takes a very special person to be that understanding. I truly believe that you two were made for each other.
So a toast to my Awesome Big Brother and his Beautiful Wife . May you always be smiling, laughing, and handle everything with a sense of humor. I am sooo happy for you and I love you guys!!
Congratulations!!
So that was the toast that I was going to do but didn't. Sorry guys :O( But I am kind of glad I didn't cause I couldn't even type it without crying. I'm such a girl. I really am happy for them and
hehehehehehehehehehe I've gots a New Sister!!!!!

Day two and three
Well I have now had a job for 2 whole days!!! Wow what in the world was I thinking, getting back into the working world is not the smartest thing I have ever done. The alarm goes off at 7 them 7:15, 7:20, I reset it for 7:30 and once again for 7:40 before I decide I can no longer put it off and I must get up unless I want to go to work looking like a bum. Ryan on the other hand gets up before his alarm even has a chance to go off. Which I think isn't every nice, thats the alarms job, you are depriving it of its sole function.
So I fall out of bed get ready and drive to work, yeah!!! Just like the big kids, but I never wanted to be a big kid, I like being little ,I miss it, I WANT TO GO BACK!!!! The days of nothing, I'm talking maybe around the age of 4/5. When you got up to your mom nicely wakening you up not an anoying beeping/buzzing noise, the age when you didn't have to make breakfast cuz mom did it for you, the age that you watched cartoons and played outside till it was nap time. Man oh man do I miss nap time. When you didn't have to actually match your clothes, or shoes for that matter, and who give a rip if you didn't have your hair done. When bathing was fun cuz you could take toys with you and pretend to save the animals from drowning, or maybe just drown them. When you didn't have to come home and clean and do a ton of laundry cuz your husband will wash it and dry it but won't put it away. Why oh why did I not appreciate it as a kid!!!
So tonight I have put away 4 loads of laundry, yes mainly all my husbands clothes. I swear he changes his clothes like 4 times a day. Oh and the best part is that I spent a good chunk of time Sunday making sure ALLLLLLLLLLLL the laundry was done, so why do we have 4 loads now??? Its been a whole 3 days. So I'm thinking the new rule is that we just go naked. Except for the clothes you have to wear to work. I don't want to be arrested now, I'm not that stupid. If we could manage that I would only have 1 maybe 2 loads a week!!!!! Now I can handle that :O)
Other than that everything else is cool. Today is Ryan's 3rd day of work. He's liking it for the most part. He doesn't get to do much since he is new. Mainly just sits at a computer all day and does trainings. But its better than B.B oh and speaking of that place. They are officially with out any body in the Bay :O) They screwed the other 2 guys who work there and they both put in their notices!!! HAPPY DANCE HAPPY DANCE!!!! Now I am not one for being mean but they totally got what was coming!!!
Well thats all for now, I need to check the washer and dryer to see if there are any surprises in there for me :O)

Jobs
Well it is official Ryan and I both have jobs now BOOOOOO :'o( Ryan started his today at Advanced Auto he is the 2nd Asst. Manager, which is kind of cool, at least he isn't stating from the bottom and having to move up. I guess I am alright with that.
His day started at 6am this morning and let me tell you I don't think he has been up that early since he left B.B. but I was proud of him he woke up with a smile and was pretty happy this morning ( surprise surprise ). It is nice that he works so close to home now, he even surprised me and came home for lunch, and believe me it was a surprise!!! So I made him lunch and he watched some t.v, then headed back. I guess I am lucky not ever ones husband can come home for lunch.
Oh and one of the best parts of this job is no more blue shirts. His shirts are white ( not to happy about having to make sure I get stains out ) and black, but I must say he does look mighty sexy in the white. I think it brings out his eyes, or maybe I am just a dork who thinks my husband is hot!!!
My job stats tomorrow :O( but I guess nine to noon isn't to bad 4 days a week, just not looking froward to the 9-5 on Mondays, but oh well.
Other than that I have been trying to clean like mad and get everything in order before I start work tomorrow, not that it is that big of a deal, I can always do more tomorrow when I get home.
So we have jobs, and everything else is fine, gots to get back to the cleaning :O(

A Quick Update
Well things have been crazy lately. Ryan's last day of work was Friday so how we are both unemployed. YEAH!!! No really I am VERY happy about this. I hated his job. Not to say that the next will be a ton better but at least it won't be what he had before. I am really excited about our new adventure. Although it does look like I will have to get a job. I'm not really hip about the whole idea, mainly because I just don't know where to apply. But I will find a place and hopefully it will be o.k.
Other than that I have just been busy with wedding stuff. Swiental's party was last weekend, and her shower is next weekend and then on the 31st we are going out again. Then the wedding is on the 8th of September. Lt. Mary and I have another dress fitting on the 16th, with a lot of other stuff in between.
Oh and I have been in total baby mode. I know now is not the time to have a child but I have been dreaming about having one lately. Well actually in all my dreams I am always having multiples, sometimes 6 sometimes 4, but never just 1. I wonder what that means?? But first we need to get the job thing worked out, then a house, then Lt Mary's wedding next year then we can start trying. I think Ryan ( at times ) is even getting baby fever, though he will never fully admit it. I know and he knows that now is just not the time. Its a good thing I am a patience person. I can wait a year, maybe longer if I have too.
So we are just plugging along. Living life and having fun.
I guess that is all for now.

Sooooooo PROUD of my HUBBY
I am soooooooo proud of my hubby he quit his job today!!!! Well actually he gave his two week notice, but still he is out of there!!! Now some may wonder why would you be proud of your hubby quiting his job especially since he dose not have another lined up??? I will tell you why. In my mind he is a TRUE MAN for doing this. For years now I have watch him get beat up and beat down, side ways and back ways and all kinds of ways in his job, and for years he just took it. But not anymore!! He didn't sell his soul like they wanted him to, which is one reason they gave him soooo much crap. He was awesome at what he did and has the numbers to prove it!!! But it never mattered, it was never good enough. He took all there crap and just kept plugging away at his job. But over the last few years I have seen him grow old, older that what he should be, and every time he can home my heart would hurt for him. I would hear all the stories of what happened and how tried he was and when we sat down to dinner his poor hands would hurt so bad that he couldn't hold his fork and in a sad little voice he would ask me to rub then just long enough so that it didn't hurt so bad and he could eat, cuz he hasn't eaten all day cuz he didn't get a lunch, and inside my heart would just cry. He would do so much for that company and they couldn't help him out enough to give him a lunch, those bastards!! But I keep my mouth shut, at least most of the time, how dare they do this to my husband. But every time I would bring up looking for a new job he would say I didn't understand. That a man is supposed to support his family and this is just the price he pays. We've talked about a new job in the past and he would always say that he is scared, its the unknown and who knows what it might be out there, at least he knew what this job was. But now we are in the unknown and I must say IT FEELS GOOD!!! I talked to him just a bit ago and he sounded happy. For once in the 7 years that he has worked there I called him and he was Happy!!! I just want to do a little dance!! At this point I don't care what happens, I don't care if we live in a box at least we will be together and be happy about it. And better now than when we have kids, I don't care if I miss meals or eat gross food that is cheep and tasteless but when we have kids I want to give them the best we can and I think this is a start for us and for the children we don't have yet. I am so proud of him, he stood up to something that most men won't. From what I am told a man will stay in a crappy, horrible job all his life cuz he is scared of what would happen it he didn't have one, but my MAN did it, he stood up and we will be better for it!!!
Also yes I may have to get a job but it is still a may, Ryan doesn't seem too keen on me working, I think he like it better the way things are, but we will see. But if I do I will be more than happy too. Its for us, no one else we have made OUR CHOICE!! And I am proud we have, and for those of you that don't like it. TOUGH!! You are not us and we are not you so we will do what we do and you can do what you do, UNLESS you yourselves are perfect and have all the answers then that would make you God and then we shall listen to you. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
PROUD of RYAN!!!!! and so you know I am doing a "Happy Dance"

If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep. If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more. If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day. If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two to stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming, you would KNOW I do. If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day, well, I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away. For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything right. There will always be another day to say our "I love you's", And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's?" But just in case I might be wrong and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget, Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight. So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day, That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish. So hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear, Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear, Take time to say "I'm sorry," "please forgive me," "thank you" or "it's okay". And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today. - Unknown -

So I was going to finish my post I started a few days ago but I can't remember where I was going with it. So I guess I won't finish it. Oh well.
Saturday night was FUN!! We played Nintendo, and had our yummy dinner picnic style on the floor. It was very fun, we felt just like little kids :O) I did learn that if you don't play Nintendo or any other gaming system often its really had to just "pick" it up again. That is to say I haven't played a game in I don't know, years maybe. So I totally sucked. But it was a really good time and we laughed a lot, mainly at me cuz I was having issues controlling Mario, or the car, or pretty much I just had issues controlling my guy in what ever game we played, and Ryan was sooo sweet trying to help me. He'd would tell me when to shoot ~ "Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, no don't jump, it the "A" button" while laughing his butt off. Like I knew where the "A" button was. It was a really good time. Then we made a "nest" on the floor and watched a movie and went to bed.
Sunday was Sunday, he had to help his friend work on he car. But yesterday :O)
Yesterday Ryan was a totally Sweetheart, he called me early in the afternoon and "asked me out on a date" He said he was going to take me to dinner, then to get ice cream/dessert and to the park to swing on the swings as long as it wasn't raining. So heheheheheheehhe we went on a date. I'm such a dork too cuz I feel like I should "dress up" some, so I do :O) But he's always in his Best Buy blue shirt and black pants, but at least I look cute. We had a very awesome "date". The thing that touches my heart the most is I didn't even ask him to do this. He came up with it all on his own. Such a sweetheart. HEHEHEEH I think he LOVES me :O)
The next couple of weeks may be rough, one of his guys at work moved and he wasn't just any guy he was Ryan's right hand man. So until he gets another guy and gets him trained Ryan will have to work some longer days. But we will see, we knew this was coming so we have prepared for it. And if things get too stressful he has decide that he will just have to close the bay a day or two during the week, cuz it just isn't worth it. Our marriage is more important that running a bay for Best Buy. So in your face Best Buy!!!!! Your days of beating my hubby down are over!!!

From Wednesday to Today
Well, well, well............... lets see what has happened since my dinner planning Wednesday.
Wednesdays dinner was flipping AWESOME!!!! Stuffed Green Peppers!!!! YUM, YUM!!! They were so filling - I made 4 thinking that Ryan would more than likely eat 2 and I would eat one and then have one for lunch the next day. Well it didn't exactly work that way. They were sooooo good and soooo filling. Ryan had one and I couldn't even finish mine. We were sooooo full. So we had the left over two for lunch the next day. Oh and Ryan absolutely loved them. And I was able to make them even healthier by using ground turkey instead of ground beef and you couldn't even tell. So YEAH!!!
Thursday, well Thursday didn't exactly go as planned. Ryan asked me late Wednesday night if I could make 2 large sheet cakes for his work on Friday cuz its one of his guys last day. They normally just so to Sam's Club or something and just get a huge sheet cake with black frosting and Ryan says it doesn't taste so good. I guess he's spoiled by my baking :O) and since the guy that is moving is our friend he wanted something a little more special. And of course I said yes. And so started a crazy Thursday. I got up early and went and worked out, came home showered and they went out and got all the things I would need for the cake and homemade frosting. And since we live in an apartment I had to bake the caked early and let them cool cuz whenever we use our oven it makes our apartment warm, and it can't be warm when you ice a cake cuz the icing will just melt right off. So I quickly baked the 2 large sheet cakes, one at a time of course cuz I couldn't fit two pans in at once. Then we had to go to our appointment, after that I had to stop by my friend Mary's Mom's apartment since we are planning Mary's bridal shower and go over a few things, then I had to run over to see my mom so I could use her stand mixer to make all the frosting cuz I don't have a stand mixer and using my hand mixer would have taken forever. Which making the icing already did take forever since I needed 6lbs of it. If you have never seen 6lbs of icing let me tell you its A LOT OF ICING. By the time we were done making the icing it was already pushing 9 and I hadn't even started dinner yet so we decided that on my way home I would just stop by Little Ceasers and pick up a 5$ pizza. No biggie. So I stopped and ran in to get the pizza and that's when it happened........ I get hit on by Eminem and his side kick. No Joke!!! Let me tell you I was not impressed. Especially by the fact the his side kick who was driving the car was ( and I pretty sure about this ) drunk!! Unless he always slurs his words and pronounces beautifulest as beau-tal-mul-est. LOL- need less to say I got my pizza and got out of there, making sure they didn't follow me. I got home we had our pizza and I proceeded to ice the cakes till about 1 in the morning. But they looked really really good and from what the guys said they were really really good and Ryan said that everyone loved them. I post pictures later.
I hate to end this short but Ryan is home and he just asked me to play Nintendo with him. Yes the ORIGINAL Nintendo. Yes we have one, yes it still works, yes we play it and no you can not have it. We are dorks and this is one reason why. So got to go..... I'll be back later to finish.

Guess Where We're Going!!!
MEXICO!!!!!! Just on a whim last night Ryan and I decided to have a "date" and go out to dinner. So I dressed up ,kind of, and I met him at the restaurant. It was so nice. While we were talking we decided to go back to Mexico, the same place we went on our honeymoon. As long as its still there. It my have been blown down in Hurricane Wilma. It's been two years so I sure its re-built by now. We were going to go in August but with my brother wedding the first week of September, August is filled with things to do. So we are either going to go right after the wedding or we are going to go in October for our 2nd anniversary.
For our honeymoon we were there for 10 days - but it got cut short cuz of Hurricane William, So this time we may go for 2 weeks. I'm so excited!!!! That place was awesome!!! It was all-inclusive, our "hotel" room was a hut -not a "room" at all, and it was huge. It had a HUGE bed and a huge hot tub/whirl pool tub. A huge T.V with a DVD player and they had this place you could rent dvds ( for free) , a Awesome wood dinning table, which I fell in love with and if I could of I would have smuggled it home with me :O) Oh and we had a back deck with a hammock and another small table, and guess what was in our "back yard" not more than a few feet from our deck was a swim up bar and not more than a hop skip and jump from there was the ocean. AHHHHHHH!!!! I am soooooooo excited. Oh and there was the moon lit massage on the beach under the stars, and it was like a two hour massage and let me tell you these ladies are good!!! Oh and the moon lit dinner for two on the beach, which was soooo romantic!!! Oh oh oh, I almost forgot about the BEST PART- THE OPEN AIR SHOWER!!!!! Let me tell you I have never had soooo much fun "showering". No it wasn't right out in the open it had stone walls but no roof, thats where the open air comes from, and it was attached to our room, it wasn't a public thing it was our shower, it was soooooo pretty too, with rock walls and the water came out of the wall with this "wood" branch looking thing, so it was almost like a water fall instead of a shower. HEHEHEHEHE I want to go NOW!!!!! We didn't do any activates the first time but we may this time. They had the thing where you are pulled behind a boat with a parachute, I don't know maybe if I have enough to drink I might be up for that. They had other things to do as well. We were soooo tired from all the wedding stuff all we did was eat, sleep, drink and soak up the sun :O) Which was totally ok with me :O) Ok I have to calm down - I have things to do today. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHE ok I'll stop now :O)

Kind of Got off track with this one - Oops
So Thursday was a pretty perfect day as was Friday and Saturday. I can't remember what we did Friday but Saturday Ryan had to work and then we went to his parents house for dinner and to watch fireworks over the lake. It was a really good show. But then went we got home......... our apartment was like a bazillion degrees!!! OUR AIR CONDITIONER BROKE :O( I'm thinking no big deal I grew up with no air and I actually prefer to use windows rather than air. But when you live on a 3rd floor apartment with all the windows facing the south I soon learned that we get no cross ventilation. So there was no breeze at all and the only fan we had is a little one we use at night just for the noise. So it didn't do much and I could not sleep at all and since we didn't get home till midnight we were not in the mood to go out and buy fans, plus we knew the air would be fixed at some point on Sunday and we didn't want to spend the money. So I tossed and turned all night, I got up like ever half hour, pretty much because I was sticking to my sheets. YUCK!!! So at 3 am I sent a couple e-mails and played on the internet and actually considered sleeping on our deck cuz oddly enough I apartment was 87 degrees but outside was 70 degrees, but because we have spiders on our deck and we all know how I feel about spiders I stayed inside. Oh and what was Ryan doing???? SNORING!!!! Off and on at least. So he was able to get a little sleep.
Finally at about 7am we gave up and got up for the day. Ryan called in about our air conditioner and by 1pm it was fixed!!! But it was soooooo hot in our apartment it took a good long time for it to cool down but oddly enough when it got down to 82 degrees it was feeling pretty good.
I spent the rest of the day cleaning and doing laundry. Oh and I watched the movie Hotel Rwanda, I've never seen it but I've heard about what had happened there. And well saying its sad doesn't even come close to how to describe it, and now the same thing is happening in Darfur!! I just don't get people!! How could they do that, how could people think that slashing people is the way things need to be handled!!! Maybe its because I live in the U.S and we don't slash people well at least not here we do it oversea and people think we are great for doing it. How did two wrongs make a right. Grrrrrr!!! I'm coming just short of saying I hate this world. Why doesn't God just send another flood. Thats what we all deserve. Everything is sooooo messed up. There's Adults killing adults and Adults killing Kids and Kids killing Adults and Kids Killing Kids and Adults and Kids killing babies!!! Just a few weeks ago in the news was a story about a 12 year old girl who killed her mothers boyfriend cuz he was watching her and wouldn't let her watch the show she wanted to watch, so she stabbed him!!! Or what about the baby thats fighting for its life cuz his babysitter shock him cuz he wouldn't stop crying!!! His mother is my age and this is her first child. And he will never be normal again ( see my myspace page she is my third or forth friend ). The list can go on and on about all the terrible things. Sometimes I don't even know why I bother doing the things I do to try and help. We are all doomed anyways. Wow isn't this a happy blog.
Oh and with all my ranting and raving I forgot the other thing that happened to us on Sunday. Our Fridge and Freezer broke too. But we went sure it stop working till this morning when Ryan went to get the milk and it was warm. YUCK!!! So I have spend this morning cleaning out the old one and then cleaning the other one they brought us. It was used and not cleaned out. YUCK YUCK!!
Well thats all for now - maybe I'll go to the pool for a while :O) and read a book :O) :O)

A Pretty Perfect Day
Yesterday was just about perfect - the only thing that I think could have made it better was if world hunger was taken care of or global warming was solved. Ryan had yesterday off so the day started out right by being able to sleep in. We had mainly snacks for breakfast because we were out of milk and eggs and other breakfast stuff. But it was O.k -no biggie. We watched the news together ( I'm a total news junkie ) and did some cleaning. Then Ryan had to do something real small to the Porsche and I ran to Wal-Mart to get milk and eggs and some other things, like fruits and veggies - we decided we are going to eat better - not that we don't eat really healthy now but we watch "Honey We're Killing the Kids" and well lets just say we are now borderline Vegetarians, besides chicken and tuna we only eat veggies and fruit we are even watching our carbs. Well I am, he doesn't have to watch anything I watch it for him - he eats what I make, he's such a good boy :O)
Anyways when he got home we had lunch together - Tuna Fish :O) Yes he eats tuna fish and in fact he loves that way I make it. We had our appointment, which went really really well. We love our Thursday appointments, he is so awesome!!! Then we went to Barns and Nobel, cuz I wanted to get a book. Then we came home and I made dinner while he did what he need to do. We sat at the table and I showed him the book I got -MAD LIBS!!! and we did one together. It may sound stupid but we had so much fun coming up with the nouns and verbs and stuff. He was much better than me at coming up with words. Then we read it and laughed - It was about Bananas flying a Space Ship. And then we worked on this other book we got its "What is Your Cats IQ" Its so funny and its a pretty big book so we are going to have to work on it a little at a time. Its so fun trying to answer these off the wall questions about Tinky and Nizzy. Watch at the end of the book it say that we need to check ourselves into a nut house or something cuz we actually tried to figure out your cat's IQ. But whatever we like it and its fun. :OP
Then we snuggled and watched a movie and went to bed. It may not seem like a lot to others but it was a really good happy no stress day and we really enjoyed it. And I think our good day has carried over to today. I got up with him this morning and packed his lunch and got him off to work and I'm going to go hang out with my friend Rachelle and her awesome kids. Maybe she can give me some pointers on how I can keep my house as clean as hers. Hope you all have an awesome day too cuz I'm pretty sure Ryan and I are going to. :O)

ITS DONE!!!
Its Finally Done!!
I just got a call from Ryan and our Porsche is finally done. Its only been at the shop for like a month. I can't even begin to think how long it would have taken if Ryan wasn't a mechanic. He did most of the repairs himself but there were a few things that he just couldn't do - mainly because we don't own a lift and other big equipment that cost a ton of money. But its done and now I can drive it. Well first I have to learn how cuz its a stick - which I can drive but not well, so first I have to get really good at driving a stick but then I'm going out. Who wants to join me???
Now the only problem is getting two cars home from Michigan - which I think we have figured out. He's going to take the Porsche to his parents in Michigan (that's where we store it anyways), I'll pick him up from his parents and then tomorrow I will take him to his other car in Michigan. He just doesn't feel like driving back and forth like a billion times. But YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!! OUR CAR IS DONE!!!!

My Friend is the Best Mom!!
OMG!!! My Friend is the best mom ever and I so hope that one day I will be like her. I haven't seen her in a while, like 8 months or so cuz life has just been crazy for both of us, well I got see her and her kids yesterday and I must say I have never been so impressed by a mom and her kids as I am by her and her kids.
She is 25 or 26 so she pretty young to have 4 kids under the age of 6. Well actually the oldest, Maddie will be 7 the end of August, Savanna is 4 and will be 5 in September, her son Josiah is 2 and will be 3 in November and her youngest, Abaliena (that's spelled wrong), is 1 and will be 2 in January. So they are all pretty young and they are the most well behaved kids I have ever met.
When we got there they were all playing nicely in the playroom, and when they realized we were there they all came out and said hi - including the 2 youngest. They weren't crazy or wild, they were very polite. My husband and her husband went outside to work on their car, so Rachel and I stayed inside. I also must say her house is just about spotless too. All the kids beds were made - and I mean actually made, sheets tucked in, and covers pulled up. The Two oldest girls share a room, Josiah has his own room where he sleeps in a twin bed and has no problems with it. Oh and HE'S POTTY TRAINED!!!! The youngest still sleeps in a crib but is just about potty trained as well. Everything was neat and clean and dusted and I was just sooooo amazed!! In fact I was embarrassed, her house is cleaner than mine and I don't work or have kids.
You may be thinking that maybe the kids aren't happy or that the T.V is the babysitter but you would be so wrong. In the time we were there the T.v was not turned on once and her kids are the happiest kids I have ever met, we were there for about 3 1/2 hours and there was not one fight or argument, she never once raised her voice. If there is a problem between the kids they came to her, they don't scream or yell or fight, they go to their mom and explain the problem to her and then they talk about the best choice to be made for the situation. It is totally amazing!!!!
The kids ate dinner at 7pm and it was a real dinner, chicken and noodles with garlic bread, and apple slices. All she had to do is tell them once that dinner was ready and they all came to the table found their seats and just sat and waited for Rachel to give them there plates - including the two youngest - they sit at the table like the rest of the kids not in a high chair or booster seat in a normal chair. They all ate and even asked for more by saying please and thank you. When they were done she asked them all to get their jammies, which they did. The two oldest got changed themselves and put there dirty clothes in the basket not on the floor, the youngest two brought there clothes to her so she could change them. They cleaned up the toy room without being asked and sat on the couch and listened to her read a story to them - the oldest Maddie even read she 6 and is reading at a 3rd grade level!!! Savanna is 4 and reads at a 1st grade level!! After the story they all held hands and said their night time prayers and went to bed. And that was that - They were IN BED BY 8PM!!!!!!!
So I had to ask how she does it. She and the kids get up at 8 am eat breakfast together then they get to watch one show, one 1/2 hour show, while she cleans the kitchen and does the dishes. Then they get dressed and make the beds. Then they decide what to do for the day. Weather they dig in the dirt together or make a craft they do it together. That's the secret she says! Also and they don't fight they talk about things, no yelling,no screaming, no fighting!! It is truly amazing!!! When I'm a mom I sooooo what to be like her.
3 Bunnies a Day!!!!
OUR BUNNY ADVENTURE!!!
These are pictures from our adventure with the 3 baby bunnies!!
My cutie pie city boy calls me one day no more than a couple of minutes after he left the apartment and says that there is a itty bitty baby bunny that needs help. So I run down to him and he managed to get the one picked up in an old towel he had in his car, and as we are standing there trying to decide what to do, one of the grounds keeper walks up and hands us another baby bunny that he had in his POCKET!!! So now we have two baby bunnies, then we saw the third and picked him up as well. So we were standing there with this now what look and the only thing I can think of is DADDY WILL KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! He know everything!!! I can't remember exactly the conversation but we ended up putting the baby bunnies in the kitten carrier ( no the kittens were not in it ) and took them over to my dads house were we could take care of them till they were strong enough to be let go. These are just some of the pictures I have more on my dad's camera. Oh and these pics are in total random order, I try to download them in order but when they post they end up all screwed up, sorry.

This is Cracker and Peanut,
Peanut was the runt and we had the hardest time getting him to eat with the eye dropper,
and baby bottle, then we couldn't get him to eat grass or bunny food, we though for sure he
wasn't going to make it, but in the end he was the only one that did.
Poor Cracker and Jack passed away for unknown reasons, they were the strongest!!

Little Jack - he was such a good bunny, the first to eat with the baby bottle, the first to eat grass and bunny food. He was such a good little guy, he like to jump and would tease the cats. Poor little guy. I hope he is in bunny heaven having a grand old time :O)
Me holding baby Peanut while Lt. Mary feeds him. Peanut was such a scared little guy,
he only liked me :O)

After we had them a couple day we took them out side so they could "play" in the
grass. This is Jack - he loved the grass!!

Ryan feeding the baby again. He was sooo sweet with these little guys!!!
Well that was our adventure. Only one made it, Peanut, and was released at my uncles house. The other two were the strongest of the 3 and why they passed away is beyond me. It was almost like they were fine one minute and gone the next. Cracker and Jack Rest in Bunny Peace. I have to get a hold of my dad's camera but I will post the release.

The Cutest Darm Thing I've Ever Seen
HEHEHEEH This morning I just saw the cutest darn thing ever. I was sitting on my balcony drinking my coffee and taking to my dad on the phone and watching the ducks on the "lake" and there was this little baby duck all by him self just a zippin around the middle, it looked like he was just havin the time of his life, then all of a sudden his mom darts out from the shore where she and all of her other babies were eating and goes and gets him and I swear she scolded him. She actually made him follow her back and I'm pretty sure he got a "time out". It was just soooo darn funny to see this. It almost gave you this feeling like I shouldn't be staring at them, you know the way you feel when you are in a store and a mom is scolding her kid, you don't want to stair, well at least I don't cuz I feel rude. But of course I did cuz you never see an animal being scolded. You never actually think of a duck as a "good mommy" but she sure was. And in a way I almost felt bad for the little duck. Just about every body knows I LOVE ANIMALS so this totally made my day. Then as if that wasn't cute enough the mommy and all her babies were swimming by the shore eating and she has an albino baby! It was all white with a bright orange beak, soooooo cute. I love ducks. Oh and I saw some baby bunnies eating they were cute too. I just wanted to run down there and play with them all.
Oh and I don't think I told anybody, WE HAVE BABY BIRDIES!!!! Well we don't but we do..... anyways a few months back we put up a bird house for some morning doves well they were scared off but these other birds and they made a nest and now there are babies!!! I haven't seen them cuz they are hidden pretty well by the nest, I must say those birds sure do know how to build a nest, but I can hear them. If you are kind of quite you can hear them with their cute little peeps, and you can watch (from inside) as the mom or dad or both bring them worms. Good little baby bird parents. I love nature!!!
Oh and now some bad news - THOSE BASTARDS CUT DOWN A TON OF TREES!!!!!!
O.K now that I have that out of my system. Yesterday the apartment complex cut down quite a few trees, and they were trees that had bird nests in them. It really makes me sad cuz one of the trees was a pine just off my balcony and Tinky and Nizzy would watch the birds sitting in it and squirrels would climb it and jump to the roof and down onto the balconies and look for food and well it now what are the little critters going to do. If I would have know that they were going to do this I would have protested. Chained myself to the tree or something but now its just gone, along with others. This really makes me MAD!!!! And if I wasn't so small I would go kick their butts!!! I can't wait till I get a house, then I can protect the animals more and they will have a safe place. Poor little critters. People are sooo rude to them. Just cuz we are bigger doesn't mean that we can just take every thing over. GRRRRRRRRR!!!! Screw this it's just making me mad I'm going to watch the ducks so more. Have a good day as long as you don't cut anything down!!!!

Pictures From Our Trip To The Childrens Museum In Indy
These pics are totally random - I couldn't get them to stay in order, but that's o.k. - Ryan and I were lucky enough to be able to take a short 3 day vacation to Muncie to see Mary and Erik back in May. We had soooo much fun. These are some of the pics from our trip to the museum, I took a ton of pics but I hope this at least shows the FUN we had. Oh and in case you aren't sure No - neither Ryan and I nor Mary and Erik have any children, and Yes we are all adults Mary and Erik are 22, I'm 24 and Ryan's 30 - so I guess this proves your never too old.
